Approche de modélisation approximative pour des systèmes à événements discrets : Application à l'étude de propagation de feux de forêt

Abstract : The purpose of our work is to integrate into a modeling and simulation formalism based on the paradigm of discrete events that is to say DEVS introduce by Professor B.P. Zeigler (Discrete EVents system Specification), a "mode of fuzzy reasoning". Our approach should make it possible to process the inaccurate parameters by using the mathematical method introduces by professor L.A. Zadeh called the Fuzzy Sets Theory. This one offers a mathematical tools pallet to model the human reasoning mode, and is an effective means to take into account the inaccuracy of knowledge. The advocated approach has to be general and independent of a given application. However we propose to validate this approach within the framework of the following application : the spreading of fires of forests modeling. This validation is developed from the fuzzy data like the wind, the spreading tableland, vegetation outlines, the ground topology, the various types of vegetation flammability, etc.
