Simulations numériques des transferts de chaleur turbulents par convection forcée dans des conduites cylindriques et des espaces annulaires

Abstract : This thesis was devoted to the numerical simulation of heat transfer by forced convection in fully developed turbulent flows. Two configurations were considered : the pipe and the annulus flows. The turbulent fields are statistically analyzed by averaging the instantaneous fields of velocity and temperature in order to deduce the mean profiles, root mean square, turbulent heat fluxes as well as higher order statistics such as skewness and flatness coefficients. A more thorough in the analysis of turbulent flows is also used : probability density functions (pdf) and joined probability density functions (jpdf). We look at the influence of the thermal diffusivity of the fluid on the convective heat transfer in both geometry, the influence of the ratio of heat fluxes imposed on the walls is analyzed
