Sur les équations d'ondes amorties dérivées de la modélisation cérébrale

Abstract : In this work, we are interested in a damped wave equation derived from brain modelling . For this equation, we have 1. justified it from the physiological point of view and generalised it to a more realistic cases. 2. proved existence and uniqueness of a solution and discussed the case where the energy decreases exponentially to zero. 3. constructed a stable numerical scheme and validated it with numerical simulations. 4. Finally, we have studied an inverse problem of thalamic input identification.
