Amélioration du cycle trans-critique au CO2 par une compression refrodie : évaluations numérique et expérimentale

Abstract : Greenhouse gas emmisions are both direct and indirect for refrigeration and air conditioning activity. They are respectively related to the refrigerant nature and the energy consumptions. The aim of this work consists in searching new syntetic molecules with low GWP and studying natural fluids. For the CO2 case, a dedicated cycle is often necessary to mtch reference performances. Regarding this last point, isothermal compression overcomes the poor CO2 thermodynamical properties. This ideal transformation allows having a COP equal to 92% COPcarnot. Oil injection as fine droplets into compression chamber has been proposed to achieve isothermal compression for piston and scroll compressors. A substential COP increase, +30% compared with conventional cycle, has been estimated by numerical simulation. In this case, the oil flow is 3 times more important than CO2 and droplets diameter is supposed equal to 0.025mm. The feasability to obtain such spray made of droplets with an average diameter equal to 0.05mm has been experimentally validated.
