Médiation flexible dans un système pair-à-pair

Abstract : We are interested in open and dynamic distributed information systems, which put into action a large number of autonomous and heterogeneous information systems. In such context, a peer can play initiator's and provider's roles at the same time. The mediator's role consists in making link between initiators and providers, allocating queries to more relevant providers. Initiators' and providers' preferences can be antagonistic, the firsts favouring pertinent replies whereas seconds privileging to handle some queries. Often, mediators acknowledge only one point of view among these of initiator and provider. This thesis proposes a mecanism of flexible mediation which take in account the two points of view, in order to guarantee satisfaction for all actors of system. On the one hand, the providers make monetary offers which represent their interests in the request. On the other hand, the interest that an initiator may have for one or another provider who treats the request is linked to the notion of quality. These two measure are the basis of selection step of our flexible mediation. Moreover, it can permit to requisition providers that do not want to treat query when it is necessary. Mediation combines a social aspect with an economic aspect via the use of a currency. We examine the satisfaction established by the peers in the system. We also study the properties which result from microeconomy. Through experimentation, we compare flexible mediation with other processes in variant contexts with the aim to determining the optimum usage conditions.
