Caractérisation des huiles essentielles par CPG/Ir, CPG/SM(IE et IC) et RMN du carbone-13 de Cistus albidus et de deux Asteraceae endémiques de Corse : Eupatorium cannabinum subsp. corsicum et Doronicum corsicum.

Abstract : The flora of Corsica is rich in medicinal and aromatic plants, which may be the source of high value products (essential oils, extracts, resins ...) with complex chemical composition. The methodology for component identification is based on the use of different analytical techniques such as CC, GC, GC / EI-MS and NMR carbon-13. The aim of our work is twofold: - assessment and integration of the GC / MS mode "Chemical Ionization" in analytical methodology of our laboratory; - the characterization of three plants of the Mediterranean region: Cistus albidus, Eupatorium cannabinum subsp. corsicum and Doronicum corsicum The essential oil of Cistus albidus growing wild Provence was characterized by a high content of sesquiterpene bearing to the bisabolane skeleton and low amount of monoterpenes and diterpenes with labdane skeleton. It was different from those of other species from Cistus genus. The study of chemical composition from two Asteraceae endemic to Corsica has highlighted: - the chemical composition of the essential oil from aerial parts of Eupatorium cannabinum subsp. corsicum was dominated by mono- and sesquiterpene hydrocarbons whereas the essential oil from roots exhibited high amount of oxygenated monoterpenes. - the essential oil from Doronicum corsicum exhibited an original chemical composition with "unusual" thymol derivatives (not described in the literature) as major components. These essential oils are characterized by the presence of various monoterpenic bi-esters and esters from thymol, 8.9-dehydrothymol, 8.9-époxythymylol, borneol, nerol, lavandulol. The study of these esters by GC / MS-CI has enabled us to identify the mechanisms of reactions and fragmentation occurring in ICP and ICN with different reactant gases (CH4 and NH3).
