Propagation d'ondes dans un milieu excitable: simulations numériques et approche analytique

Abstract : This thesis deals with a qualitative understanding of PDE systems of FitzHugh Nagumo Type. It is based on excitable and oscillatory properties of the ODE system of FitzHugh Nagumo. Numerical simulations show complex patterns relevant in Biology and Physiology. From a mathematical point of view, this correspond to non obvious attractors. Various theorems are shown.
