Appropriation des Technologies de l'information et de la communication : le cas d'un projet engageant conduit au sein d'une institution éducative du premier degré. Approche communicationnelle, accompagnement, médiations.

Abstract : The widened organisation, the Education Nationale, and more particularly the Primary school, has been chosen as a field study in information and communication sciences (Sic). The problem revolves around the question of the use of information and communication technologies (Tic) within schools through a communicational approach of the organisation. The ranges of educational tools and media used in classes mix without complementarity and make up the complete set of the teacher orchestrator (Moeglin, 2005). We shall raise the question of their extensive use because we have noticed that equipping schools is not enough to see these suitable technologies used in educational methods. In the field, we build a project of use called the “P'tit journ@l” and develop its “accompaniment” around a double mediation: the mediation of communication, the social and technical one. We devise the concept of project of commitment” by setting out the paradigm of communicational commitment (Bernard Joule,2004). By taking into account the intentionality of the actors, “the project of commitment” accounts for a “downward” shift (Bernard, 1997), of educational methods, i.e a change not prescribed by the hierarchy. It enables to go beyond the constraints of action in a highly hierarchical setting to favour cooperation, cotraining and communication between actors regarded as autonomous and responsible. In communicational situations of accompaniment between peers, the construction of the meaning goes through the social situation of interaction. The acts of speech produce “an organisational illocutoire” (Gramaccia, 2001) between actors who exchange according to common and usual communicational practises. At the final stage of our empirical study, we shall show, through a heuristic approach, that the use of Tic in educational methods is more a matter of a circular form of communication than a linear one marked by the management's requirements.
