Contribution à l'évaluation du vieillissement des batteries de puissance utilisées dans les véhicules hybrides selon leurs usages

Abstract : The recent global realization of the future lack of oil and the climate changed due to human activities grow the automobile manufacturer to propose new technology and the hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) is one of these possibilities. The battery is one of the essential parts in this vehicle but probably the most critical one with respect to reliability and life expectation. This study gives the tools which are necessary to estimate these characteristics. Particularly, it focuses on the performance assessment and representative ageing profils design which could be used in accelerated tests. This work examines nickel metal hydride (NiMH) and lithium-ion (Li-ion) technologies which are considered the standard advanced batteries for hybrid vehicles.
