Gravity-est-un-véritable-défi-scientifique, Avant de débuter la phase de construction, il s'avère nécessaire de détailler une phase d'étude contenant notamment des estimations des performances de l'instrument (phase A) Dans cette optique, j'ai pu réaliser des simulations dont les objectifs pour GRA- VITY sont : 1. de posséder un modèle physique réaliste de l'instrument pour estimer ses performances interférométriques, 2. d'éclairer la conception de l'instrument en analysant comment les performances varient selon différentes configurations

. Pour, effectuer des simulations interférométriques « endto-end » (globales) de l'instrument, c'est-à-dire qu'on va chercher à simuler toutes les étapes de l'observation de GRAVITY depuis la modélisation de la cible astrophysique jusqu'à la détection des franges d'interférences.
