Modélisation mathématique et numérique d'un problème tridimensionnel d'interaction entre un fluide incompressible et une structure élastique

Abstract : This work presents a study of a time dependent interaction problem between an incompressible fluid and an elastic structure. We present a rigorous mathematical modelling which permits an efficacious numerical implementation even in the tridimensional case. The fluid is modelled by the evolution Stokes equations and the structure is governed by the linear elasticity equations. Two mathematical models for solving in a decouplied way the fluid-structure problem are presented. These models are well posed. Using the mixed finite elements method for the discretisation in space and the finite differences method for the discretisation in time, we define an algorithm for computing the displacement and the velocity of the structure, the velocity and the pressure of the fluid and the interface forces. The numerical results are very satisfactory.
