Dimensionnement et commande d'actionneurs piézoélectriques en vue du contrôle des vibrations des machines à réluctance variable rapides

Abstract : Due to a passive rotor and no need for any magnet, Switched reluctance motors (SRM) provide an attractive alternative for high speed and high temperature applications. However, considering equivalent application and power, the noise generated from this machine is greater than for other machines. A salient rotor and rectangular current shapes increase these noise emissions. Many solutions have been studied in the aim of decreasing noise emissions; these include adapted current shape, optimal stator design or auxiliary coils. In this thesis, an original solution is presented: piezoelectric actuators (PZT, Lead zirconate titanate) are stuck onto an SRM stator and then controlled so as to produce active structural damping.
