Une approche CAO pour la préconception des mécanismes plans générateurs de trajectoire : RéalisMe

Abstract : This work is concerned by the preliminary design of a particular class of planar linkages, the path generators. Their function is the path described by an effector point. The existing analysis and synthesis tools are more adapted to the detailed than to the preliminary design, so we propose some methods for taking into account more diverse types of specification of the path, especially in terms of form (vs. by a list of points). The plate-form called RealisMe employs two kinematical models. The multipolar systemic model is an extension, in the sense of the systemic theory, of the Assur groups. The qualitative kinematics model generates directly a path as a list of arcs et segments. These two models allow high speed kinematical simulations and furnish useful information for synthesis. The multipolar systemic model is employed in an incremental design methodology for complex linkages. Two dimensional optimization approaches, exact and qualitative, are proposed, using a loop on appropriated kinematic simulations. Finally, we develop two synthesis methods using Case-based Reasoning. A huge number of paths are computed, using simulation, for random chosen dimensions of a linkage. Then, the couple path -- dimensions (called cases), after a coding operation, are saved in the base. The first case-based synthesis method uses a neural network to compute, for a given desired path form, a candidate linkage by an interpolation of closed cases. The form of the path is expressed using harmonic analysis. The neural network contains, in a small amount of data, a large knowledge about the relation between dimensions and paths, for a given linkage structure. The second method uses the qualitative coding of paths, indexed by a qualitative key.
