Abstract : Radiofrequency identification is an emerging and promising technology for the identification of individuals and goods: the automation of manual operation, rapidity, precise information...
Differents RFID technologies exist. In this thesis, we are interested in the passive UHF RFID technology and especially to the design, characterization and fabrication of RFID antennas. In 2007, over 1.7 billion of RFID tags were sold. To lower their cost, we investigate their fabrication using ink jet printing, a technique that could revolutionize electronics industry. This work is issued from electromagnetic simulations and measurement considering several kinds of RFID antennas.
