La formation continue et ses externalités en termes d'accumulation du savoir au sein de l'entreprise. Analyse théorique et propositions d'approches d'évaluation microéconométrique

Abstract : This thesis proposes to study the mechanisms of continuing vocational training taking into consideration the collective side of the firm. Our study assumes that knowledge learnt during a formal training can be transmitted to other workers of the firm and can represent informal training of the firm. We highlight a double effect of training investment of the fim: a direct effect on trainees' productivity and an indirect effect on the productivity of the whole workforce, thanks to the spillover effect of training. Finally, we show that employer rewards trainees that have transmitted what they learnt. Consequently formal training returns vary with the degree of transferability of training within the firm and not across firm as assumed Becker (1964). The estimates of the spillover effect of training, with Formation Continue 2000 and Formation Continue 2006 – CVTS IIII are some evidence to support our model.
