Étude des spectres électroniques et courbes de potentiel de dimères alcalins hétéronucléaires

Abstract : This thesis presents an experimental study of KLi laser induced fluorescence spectra analysed by Fourier transform spectrometry. Accurate potential energy curves have been calculated for the ground state, X1+, of 39K7Li and 39K6Li. A simultaneous study involving these two isotopologues established slight but significant breakdown of the Born-Oppenheimer approximation for this molecule. Six vibrational levels of the a3+ state (also correlated to the atomic asymptote Li (2s) + K (4s) atoms) have been observed too. Although these data cover only 25 % of the total a3+ well depth, an analytical expression, , gives a good extrapolation back to the potential minimum, and fits all data to experimental accuracy.A similar experiment, performed on CuCl2 produced in a free jet source, has provided a gas-phase value for spin-orbit splitting in the X2g state. Polarization labelling spectra of NaLi are also analysed, giving preliminary information on two excited electronic states
