Géographie, aménagement des territoires et géogouvernance
Propositions pour une formation des acteurs à la compréhension des enjeux spatiaux

Abstract : A sustainable management of the territory cannot be conceived without a strong involvement of all actors. Geography, a social science, has developped the necessary modeling concepts and methods to allow each of us to understand spatial process. With the rapid spread of I.C.T., information including spatial reference is now plentiful, accessible but often remains abstract for the public. Through two experiments taking place in different contexts and with different actors, we show that direct and/or indirect training, adapted to different audiences is possible. By including an interactive approach to spatial modeling, it becomes possible to modify the initial representations of each of the actors. This step is necessary to clarify spatial issues and solutions suggested by the various actors among whom the citizens. Only then does a process of geogovernance potentially open to all citizens become feasible.
