Le possible, l'actuel et l'événement en mécanique quantique, une approche pragmatiste

Abstract : This thesis offers a pragmatist justification of quantum mechanics. The latter consists first in determining the functions any theory must fulfil to enable physicists to carry through their research activity in microphysics, then in demonstrating that quantum mechanics is the only theory precisely fulfilling these functions. Furthermore, the pragmatist approach adopted here leads us to describe the measurement within the context of the physicist's practice, and thereby, bring to the fore a radical change between the phase of theoretical prediction and that of taking the measurement outcome into account. This distinction delineates the field of the possible and that of the actual. This approach has the advantage of dissolving the measurement problem, without modifying the quantum formalism and without raising new problems.
