Les Karen : Horizons d'une population frontière. Mises en scène de l'indigénisme et écologie en Thaïlande.

Abstract : In contemporary Thailand, the relationship between "Highlanders" and the government mainly crystallizes on competion for natural resources. Throught the ethnography of a network of Karen villages unified around political claimings, the research highlight their involvement into alternative development action leading to the reasserting of territorial rights in protected forest areas.
