Bilineair time series models: Estimation, Algorithm and application
Modèles de séries chronologiques Bilinéaires : Estimations, Algorithmes et Applications
Résumé
Some works in estimate of the parameters of bilinear models have been realizedwith few applications and simulations.
Our goal was, then to construct a novel algorithm of estimating of the parameters of these models.
These new technique of estimating is based on maximum likelihood method and Kalman filter algorithm.
The utilization of Kalman filter algorithm requires the state space representation of bilinear models.
So, we have employed the polynomial state affine representation, introduced by Guegan and Hamilton's space state representation for bilinear models.
To demonstrate the good performance of our approach we conducted a series of simulations. Our algorithm was implemented in a scientific software, devoted to a particular bilinear model.
