Couplage Fluide Structure pour la simulation numérique des écoulements fluides dans une conduite à parois rigides ou élastiques, en présence d'obstacles ou non.

Abstract : The numerical simulation of fluid-structure interaction by the finite element method has been studied in the context of The Navier-Stokes equations for an incompressible Newtonian viscous fluid in interaction with an elastic solid.
The formulation Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) was used, by considering a dynamic grid, where the solid is described by a Lagrangian formulation and the fluid by a Eulerian formulation. The fluid model validation is carried out by considering academic tests and concerns: flow around a step, the Cavity, the flow around a cylinder... The solid model is validated by considering the case of a cantilever beam and fixed beam, the case of a cylinder subjected to its actual weight and the case of an elliptical arch.
An algorithm of coupling is then developed for the implementation of this interaction fluid-structure. This algorithm, based on an explicit schema, allows the transfer of fields in an interactive way. The effectiveness of the method ALE and the coupling fluid-structure was evaluated by considering several cases tests: solid immersed in a channel, where runs out a transitory or stationary fluid flow, flow of a fluid in a drain with elastic walls...
The results show that this coupling explicit-interactive makes it possible to use a different mesh and schemas for the fluid and the structure, and enjoys the advantage of not using large matrices of data storage.
