Vers un critère d'erreur énergétique pour le maillage adaptatif en régime magnétodynamique

Abstract : Up until now, in the field of numerical simulation in electromagnetism, previous studies on error evaluation in magnetodynamics have not provided satisfactory answers. After introducing the Finite Element method through a thermodynamic approach to electromagnetism, this thesis proposes a new energy-based error criterion. This enables error in the conducting regions, where Eddy-currents occur, to be evaluated. Some characteristics of this criterion, relative to formulation and element order, are described. Subsequently, an adaptive meshing process based on the criterion when applied to a 2D magneto-harmonic case is examined. An extension to transient magnetic cases is introduced. The convergence of the global energy quantities validates the reliability and the relevance of the criterion.
