Influence des ions monohydrogénophosphates et fluorophosphates sur les propriétés des phosphogypses et la réactivité des phosphoplâtres.

Abstract : Phosphogypsum is a by-product resulting from the phosphoric acid synthesis, used for the fertilizers production. This thesis deals with the study of the major impurities influence, i.e. monohydrogenophosphate ions HPO42- and fluorophosphate ions FPO32-, on phosphogypsums properties and phosphoplasters reactivity, in order to recover them in plaster industry. Therefore, we have:
- determined this ions role with regard to the phase diagram CaO-SO3-H20 at ambient temperature
- determined the temperature's effect (simulation of the gypsum calcination in plaster) according to this phase diagram
- studied the difference of reactivity between samples after calcination.
This work has allowed the establishment of phosphogypsums characterization methods, the understanding of phenomena such as long setting times, the rapid furnace corrosion, and a ranking order proposition to know their suitability for recovery in plaster industry.
