Abstract : The study presented in the thesis aims at filling the lack of formalization of TRIZ. The scientific benefit of this objective is to enable the assessing of TRIZ as a theory. The industrial benefit is to propose a computer-aided tool to assist problem formulation, according to TRIZ frames.
The proposed approach is based on the Artificial Intelligence and leads to the definition of an ontology of problem formulation in inventive design of technical systems, according to TRIZ frames. This ontology is an object-oriented representation of the problem formulation concepts. An analysis of the coherence of the hierarchy of the concepts and of the well definition of the concepts has been made in logical description to validate the object-oriented representation. The model is made operational by the programming of an instantiation interface. This interface is based on an expert system shell based on rules.
