Méthodologie de modélisation et d'exploration d'architecture de réseaux sur puce appliquée aux télécommunications

Abstract : The current levels of integration of the integrated circuits make it possible to have SoC increasingly complex and multi-standards. Consequently, the problem of the interconnections between IP blocks is becoming a critical point that the structures of current communications do not achieve any more to solve. Thus, the solutions based on NoC offer good perspectives in terms of band-width and flexibility. This thesis deals with the proposition of a methodology of modelization and exploration of the architecture of a network on chip. Thus, we propose a design methodology allowing to help the designer to select the various parameters characterizing the NoC in the way to reach the real time constraints of the application. A tool AAA makes it possible to carry out the adequacy of the constraints of the application on the architecture by minimizing the ways of communication and by respecting the theoretical band-widths of the bonds of communication.
