Etude théorique des mouvements internes de grande amplitude de la décaalanine et du fragment C-terminal de la protéine ribosomale L7/L12

Abstract : An attempt to use protein low-frequency normal modes in order to solve the equations of atomic motion with a large timestep is described. It is shown that a poorly known anharmonic contribution perturb significantly the trajectories thus obtained. In order to get some insights on the future developments of our method, a low-frequency, collective, motion of the ribosomal protein L7/L12 is studied in depth.
