Analyse d'images en vidéosurveillance embarquée dans les véhicules de transport en commun.

Abstract : In the context of the design of a video surveillance recorder embedded in public transportation vehicles, the detection of cameras dysfunctions, selective video compression and people counting are studied. These applications are based on the analysis of images acquired from the surveillance cameras in the vehicle. The many variations in illumination and motion disturb classical algorithms, so that specifie tools are designed. ln the first part, we are interested in the analysis of the status of the camera, concerning the blur in images, the position of the field of view and the visibility of the scene. ln the second part, we address the problem of the detection and tracking of passengers in this dynamic environment. The combination of motion and skin color into a human model adapted to the given problem makes the localization of the passengers possible.
