Suivi en fatigue et vieillissement humide de la ténacité d'interfaces de délaminage dans des assemblages multicouches comprenant des composites carbone-époxy à renforts textiles

Abstract : This work is about damage and delamination failure of composite-reinforced multilayered assemblies. Static and fatigue failure testing of aluminium/composite bonded joints and braided composite rings were led to observe both edge and embedded delamination processes. In order to apply linear elastic fracture mechanics, analytical modelling of stress fields using linear continuum and beam mechanics were achieved. Finite Element numerical simulation allowed us to include viscoplastic behaviour and interface separation in the modelled phenomena. Several limits of the commercial cohesive zone model we used drove us to develop a specific methodology including interface homogenization. This approach was followed for the mechanical characterization of bonded carbon-epoxy prepregs, aiming to evaluate wet aging effects on interfacial creep and tenacity properties.
