Représentations formelles efficaces pour l'aide à la certification de contrôleurs logiques industriels

Abstract : This dissertation proposes formal representations for programmable logic controllers that aim at improving the scalability of model-checking techniques. These verifications, focused on extrinsic properties, inprove safety and help in controllers' certification. First, the controller representation includes only the meaningful states for properties proof and minimizes the number of variables that feature each state. Then, a representation of each function block, described in a new tailor-made formal language, is included in the controller representation. These representations enable the formal verification of the controller, even with large-sized programs. Comparison with previously proposed representations, as well as their use in an industrial context, validates our representations and quantifies their efficiency.
