Logistique inverse et collecte des produits techniques en fin de vie. Tournées de véhicules avec contraintes

Abstract : This thesis deals with durable household electronic appliances collection. Regarding legislative constraints that force disposal of so-called « ultimate » products from july 2002, recycling appears to be an ecologic and economic promising solution. Economic stability of recycling depends among other things on the costs management and the development of secondary markets, in order to add value on materials, spare parts and recycled products. This perspective leads us to consider the management and the planning of collection, the main supplier of reverse logistics and the responsible of a consequent part of system global costs. Once the principal characteristics of the logistics system are identified, the collection at home keeps our attention, and is modelled as a vehicle routing problem : the « pickup and delivery problem with time windows ». This Operational Research problem is then algorithmly resolved, successively considering the single vehicle and the multiple vehicle cases. Main algorithm is based on probabilistic and deterministic tabu searchs, and give excellent results in terms of execution time and quality. Finaly, a way is shown for easily integrating heuristics in a decision support module of collection operational planning, where the human operator has to define the collection plan to be executed. Module integration is modeled using the unified modelling language UML.
