Comportement au jeune âge des matériaux cimentaires – Caractérisation et modélisation chimio-hydro-mécanique du retrait

Abstract : The early-age behavior of cementitious materials is a complex phenomenon which put in opposition an evolutive but mechanically-still weak structure and particular external conditions such as temperature, relative humidity and mechanical restraint for example. This results in some cases the cracking of the developing material by restrained-shrinkage. An experimental-numerical coupled approach was developed to reproduce the restrained-shrinkage-cracking phenomenon, in laboratory and under controlled conditions. This approach thus identifies the key parameters necessary to the construction of a predictive mesoscopic numerical model that takes into account the chemo-hydro-mechanical coupling effects on the evolution of the physico-mechanical properties of material.
