L'amélioration très nette de la stationnarité du détecteur au cours des différents WSR s'est accompagnée d'une amélioration de la sensibilitésensibilitéà basse fréquence ayant pour conséquence une amélioration de la distance horizon accessible. On montre sur la figure 5.40 l'´ evolution de cette distance ,
Remarquons cependant que les recherches menées actuellement se limitentàlimitentà un développement d'ordre 2. 6.1.3 Effectivité On s'intéresse maintenantàmaintenantà la comparaison des différentes familles de calques listées dans le tableau 6.1. Pour cela, on calcule l'effectivité entre elles. Ces calculs demandent une maximisation 4 sur les valeurs des paramètres intrinsèques (les masses) du calque avec lequel on (( recherche )) le signal. Cette maximisation doit se faire sans a priori sur les valeurs des masses permettant d'obtenir le recouvrement maximum. Il s'avère en effet que des valeurs d'effectivité maximales sont parfois obtenues pour des paramètres de masse du calque très différents de ceux du signal. Pour ce faire, l'effectivité obtenue précédemment en faisant une recherche d'extremum sur quatre paramètres a ´ eté recalculée en faisant une recherche sur les paramètres de phase et le paramètre f cut en donnant au paramètre ? une valeur nulle. Les nouveaux résultats sont présentés sur la figure 6.9. Ils montrent que la prise en compte du param` etre ? permet bien d'améliorer l'effectivité. Le gain apporté par ce paramètre est très faiblè a basse masse totale. A haute masse, il permet un gain en effectivité de l'ordre de 3 ` a 4 points Bien que l'influence du paramètre ? sur les gains en terme d'effectivité puissê etre notablè a haute masse, la complication induite par sa prise en compte nous suggère de donneràdonnerà ce paramètre une valeur fixe nulle) M . On a donc une perte plus importante que le minimum généralement requis (? 95 %) essentiellementàessentiellementà haute masse, ce contexte, la plus faible valeur obtenue pour l'effectivité entre les différents modèlesmodèlesétudiés et les calques BCV est de l'ordre de 96% (97%, 92%, 90%) pour une masse totale de 10 Toutefois les calques (( BCV )) offrent la possibilité de (( recouvrir )) unéventailunéventail large de modèles (y compris un modèle qui pourrait différer de ceuxétudiésceuxétudiés).
