Etude de dérivés de Bodipy à l'état solide et en matrice polymère: vers la réalisation de nanocapteurs

Abstract : The fluorescence properties of assemblies of Bodipy derivatives were studied in order to develop nanosensors.
The nanoparticles can be either nanocrystals or aqueous suspension of polymer beads, i.e. nanolatex.

Molecules with bulky substituants have been synthesized in order to limit interactions between fluorophores in the solid.
Studies of amorphous films have proven the validity of this strategy.
Cryptobodipys have also been studied. For five molecules, a relationship between the crystallographic structure and the fluorescence in the solid state could be established.
Regarding Iodophenylbodipy, the formation of J-type aggregates in the solid has been demonstrated and fluorescent nanoparticles have been prepared with this molecule.

The fluorescence of Bodipys embedded in polymer matrix was also studied. Modulation of the fluorescence of PMMA films containing PM597 by energy transfer to
a photochromic molecule was evidenced. Fluorescence quenching of nanolatex doped with trimesitylbodipy by cibacron blue is possible. This results shows that nanosensors
made with those particles could be developped.
