Abstract : Accessible, available, legible, teachable, playable, operable, decodable, tractable, all these qualities describe the film of these Utopias of an interactive cinema, a film of multiple temporalities, which is read and assembled while being performed. It can be explored, visited, as a virtual territory, in which the spectator walks, moves, where he reaches the images which come to him like memories. This film is also a reservoir, a gigantic list of sequences, which can be accessed in different ways. It is playable, readable. The reader puts it in his pocket or views it in his living room, changed into a home cinema. The author decides how to play with it and indicates it to the spectator. The spectator is connected, interfaced. Like a player, he walks his way, mentally, through this film made up of a network of links and connections ; he discovers associations, inhabits the history for a while and creates his own cinema with his machine. A cinema which he then shares with others.
