Abstract : This manuscript is a summary of my activities from my PhD, until the fist years of my research in the French technological research institute, namely the CEA.
Particularly, the following items are mentioned: the NMR characterization of biomolecules such as sugars, proteins, either dia or paramagnetic, water-protein interactions, cellular metabolism, and electron transfer rates in proteins belonging several redox centers.
Then, I mention my recent work in a lab specialized in the hyperpolarized xenon applied to liquid phase, particularly the characterization of hydrophobic cavities of proteins and the high complexation of xenon into a family of cage-molecules named cryptophanes.
