Simulation temps-réel des dispositifs d'Electronique de Puissance dédiés aux réseaux d'énergie électrique

Abstract : In the actual political and economical context, the power electronics
devices have a growing place in the power systems. Many applications of these systems are
dedicated to the voltage control, the power quality and the power producers connection... The
power electronics devices are often included in a more complex system, for instance : a
production unit, an energy storage device, energy production sources using various control
levels... Therefore interactions can occur between these components and the power system.
Thus, a particular attention must be paid to study these systems in the power system
environment. As response, real-time simulators have been developed and used for
prototyping, degraded mode analysis, control algorithms validation... However, despite the
real-time simulators advantages for equipment testing, the real-time simulation of power
electronics devices remains hazardous. Considering that, innovative solutions have been
developed in the present thesis. To validate the theory, a real-time experimental benchmark
has been conceived for tests of power electronics controllers generating pulse width
modulation. Moreover, power equipments tests have also been performed using real-time
hybrid simulations.
