Jeu de Rôle Formatif et maturation des adultes - Co-recherche-action-formation et approche écobiopsychosociale

Abstract : Transformative Role-Playing Game (TRPG) combines a Role-Playing Game (a sort
of interactive storytale) with a transformative debriefing. As the last model in the line of
roleplays (theatre, psychodrama, simulation, game), it explores more particularly the
maturationnal process. The EcoBioPsychoSocial approach, which comes from a systemic
reading of this complex activity, is the framework of this thesis and reveals the inductive
learning from TRPG (collaboration, intersubjectivity, transversality, groupal imaginary,
levels of reality). Participants get into a researcher group involved in a collaborativeaction-
research-learning semi-directed by the manager of the TRPG. The latter, as a game
and learning facilitator, continuously combines improvisation and coherence researsh, two
facets of maturationnal process. Hence, TRPG encourages participants to take the
manager's role.
