Intégration monolithique et composants de puissance

Abstract : This thesis presents the research activity carried out by Jean-Christophe Crébier
and focused on monolithic integration of power devices and their electronic
environments. The first section offers a general overview of the research activity
and how it takes part in the global research activity of academic and industrial
communities. Two topics are treated in more details : Integration of the gate
driver self powering system and reflex over voltage protection circuits. The
approach coming from the system, the monolithic integration specificities and
the required links with technological issues are detailed. The second section of
the thesis outlines future work and forecasted research topics. Some of them are
dedicated to the evolution of present researches. General overview of forecasted
electronic environment monolithic integration is well presented from gate driver
powering and amplification to protection and data exchange. A specific part
addresses design issues and more especially design assistance and capitalization
in monolithic integration of silicon power devices.
