Abstract : The objective of this Ph. Thesis is to apply, for data fusion problems, consistency techniques on real boxes in order to solve CSP (Constraint Satisfaction Problems). The considered application deals with dynamic localisation of a car-like vehicle using ABS odometers, a gyro and a differential GPS receiver.
After this study and its conclusions, two main contributions are introduced to improve usual constraints satisfaction techniques thanks to the concepts of Vectorized CSP “VCSP” and “Consistency Domains”. The goal is to solve cycles thanks to Consistency Domains and to isolate and organise cycles appearing on constraints graphs in order to obtain optimal domains with an a priori known calculation time.
