Abstract : It is henceforth allowed that the potential of information technologies and communication brings a new challenge to the modern world and favors an access of mass to the knowledge consolidated since the beginning of the 90s by the succession of the Internet network.

The different transitions of our society of the industrial stage at the stage of information society and of the knowledge demonstrate today that the most important wealth is not material any more, nor physical appearance. It is henceforth based on the immaterial and driven by the knowledge.

As for all the stages of life of a transition generally, we are in 2006 at the end of cycle and we do not really know which will be the direction in which we are going to go. In these conditions, the constancy millennium which must be taken into account is that of the knowledge.

Among the numerous actors who are called by this question of the future, it is necessary to quote the university, the place par excellence where elaborates and popularizes the knowledge according to a viability proved since XIII ° century with a capacity to adapt itself, to evolve and to engender the change and the progress in our society.

Today, the advent of the new technologies in the education totally upset our report in the knowledge and in the power. Yesterday, the information was available in the works, the reviews, ... Today it is on the Web and the school is competed by the other forms of access to the knowledge and to the information by which the resources increase every day a little more. This massification of the information so returns the more difficult researches and the distinction of the aptness of the information for the teacher as for the student.
In this context which has no precedent, the university has a central role to be played.

Link between the research, the companies, the students and the citizens, it is in the heart of the device of production and transmission of the knowledges and owes react in a urgent way to remain another essential constituent of the cultural, socioeconomic and ecologically viable development of the individuals, the communities and the nations

Therefore, a society which would take into account the implicit knowledges would allow a valuation of the individuals. In this backcloth, the management of the knowledge, the information literacy and the competitive intelligence in education allow to value new tracks in the use of the knowledge.

It is on this postulate and this same background that this research is founded. It presents management of knowledge and day before informational as of tools which makes it possible to put forward the new tracks in the use of knowledge, which enables us to leave the strictly technical aspects, to go towards a more conceptual use of the knowledge.
The problem arises here with a very particular acuity, strategic than strictly instrumental because this research emphasizes the need for the teachers as for the students acquiring informational competences and consequently competences in the control of the use of the information become increasingly dense and diversified on the network.

The platform of competitive intelligence in pedagogy and division of knowledge "Commun@utice" whose operation is inspired by the practices of competitive intelligence in company according to an integrated approach and continues throughout academic advance, opens here the way of the concept of informational survey in education.
