Pièges radiofréquence très anisotropes pour un condensat de Bose-Einstein

Abstract : This thesis presents the experimental and theoretical study of two radio-frequency traps for a Bose-Einstein condensate. In the first trap, atoms in an inhomogeneous magnetic field are dressed by a rf field and confined onto the surface of an ellipsoïdal iso-magnetic surface. The possibility to use this property to produce and study a bidimensionnal degenerated gas is investigated. The second trap is ring-shaped. It is obtained by the combination of the first rf trap with a vertical optical standing wave. In this ring trap, it is theoretically possible to observe a Bose gas in one, two or three dimensions by simply modifying the number of condensed atoms.
