L. Coup-de-vent-de-juin, a ´ eté caractérisé par une réponse très forte de l'océan, tant physique que biologique. Le pompage d'Ekman associé au coup de vent a causé un fort upwelling local. L'ensemble de la structure verticale a ainsi remonté sur une cinquantaine de m` etres, 2002.

P. Des-concentrationsélevéesconcentrationsélevées-en-chlorophylle-sont-observées-au-niveau-de-la, caractéristiques de l'upwelling côtier. L'enrichissement en chlorophylle semble se propager vers l'est, advecté par les courants. L'augmentation des concentrations est surtout visible au sud de l'´ equateur, dans la bande 2 ? S-0 ? , et c'est aussi vrai pour les autres WWB de ce type. 6. La variabilitévariabilitéà l'´ echelleintrasaisonnì ere : les coups de vent d'ouest A priori, pour qu'un enrichissement de type advectif puisse se produire, deux conditions doiventêtredoiventêtre réunies : présence de masses d'eaux riches en chlorophylle et nutrimentsànutrimentsà l'ouestà ouestà ce moment-l` a (upwelling côtier) et existence d'un courant zonal dirigé vers l'est, généré par le WWB

. La-figure-6, 11 présente des séries temporelles de différentes variables, dans la région de l'upwelling de PNG (bo??tebo??te " PNG " , 140 ? E-145 ? E, 5 ? S-2 ? S), 150 ? E-155 ? E, 2 ? S-0 ? ), afin de nous permettre de repérer quand ces deux conditions sont réunies

. De-même, El Niño de 1997-98, et sur la dynamique de l'océan de façon générale, est très loin d'? etre négligeable malgré la petite taille de ces??lesces?ces??les. De façon générale, les??lesles?les??les semblent avoir un effet important sur les concentrations en chlorophylle
