Analyse et modélisation du comportement des liaisons cannelées – Mise en place des bases d'un outil d'assistance à la conception

Abstract : Works of this thesis consist in a study of the spline coupling behaviour in order to develop the bases of an assistance tool to the conception. We use tridimentionnal Finite Elements models validated by experimental studies. Calculus methods, which are fast and accurate, are so defined. In a first part, we examine the limits of the dimension normalization and the necessity to analyze the spline coupling behaviour in the radial and axial directions. The radial behaviour study is based on a method, which defines on the one hand a pressure repartition model, called “punch model” and on the other hand the teeth rigidity. This last parameter is used after to describe the axial behaviour of the spline. An analyse of couple transfert along the spline enables to study the geometry influence of shaft and sleeve and the load. Finally we have worked on an extension of analytical method of the axial behaviour to widen the application domain in the case where the teeth reach beyond the contact. We have identified the possibility to use an equivalent global rigidity, variable along the contact, and able to take into account some parasite phenomena.
