Elaboration d'une approche hybride SMA-SIG pour la définition d'un système d'aide à la décision;
application à la gestion de l'eau

Abstract : Decision makers are always more confronted with environmental problems which affect million people. They wish to face these problems with the maximum of objective elements in order to decide rationally by taking account of all the part's interests. Thus they need arguments to explain and justify their choices. In this document, we examine first the decision support systems and the links which exist between the modeling of problem and the decision-making aid. We propose a new approach of the decision support systems which is based on the combined use of a geographical information system and individuals based models built following the multi-agents paradigm. Then we highlight the assets of such a hybrid approach, and we examine which knowledge is required in the decision-making process. According to this approach, we specify which links exist between the multi-agents model and the geographical information system, two representations of the same system cohabiting in one software. Pursuing our research, we propose a new platform's architecture dedicated to the development of decision support systems with a spatial dimension. We implement this platform's architecture reusing an existing multi-agents platform and a standardized geographical information system. According to our hybrid approach, using our platform, we develop a decision support system specially dedicated to the water problem. Thus we validate our work.
