Optimisation d'une chaîne de mesures électriques pour l'électronique de puissance. Analyse des problèmes de mesure, Caractérisation, Correction et Validation.

Abstract : Improvement of the reliability of the high frequency converters requires the definition of supplied instantaneous power on each switch. Since the sensing of the relevant quantities is very tricky and prone to many errors, the present study aims at an enhanced accuracy in their determination.

Although in theory, the instantaneous power is only the current/voltage product, with none of today's available oscilloscopes can the required accuracy be obtained. In the present study, many errors sources are identified. For most of them, improvements using correction-calibration procedures or signal processing technics are presented and tested.

Particular attention is paid to errors introduced by the analog to digital converter (ADC) of the oscilloscope (quantization, non linearity) and those related to voltage and current probes.

The study as a whole provides measurement methods and criteria for choosing a suitable digital oscilloscope for this application. this work leads to the development and the enhancement of a power electronic measurement bench.
