Abstract : The increasing demand on telecommunications networks capability imply an important need in new optical components. The aim of this thesis was to create a novel architecture based on optical micro-mirror and to evaluate its performances. This architecture is dedicated to DWDM applications or optical cross-connects. Two different approaches are followed, the first is analytical and the other is based on Finite Element Method. They have allowed the realisation and the characterisation of micro-mirrors which are today commercially available. To reduce sizes, we have been interested to integrate power supply dedicated to this type of applications. After a state of the art on the existing solutions, we present our contribution on the integration of passive storage elements.
