Nouvelles approches pour l'élaboration de nanoparticules hybrides fonctionnelles en milieux fluides supercritiques

Abstract : Two original approaches were developed for the synthesis of functional hybrid nanoparticles using supercritical fluid media.
Concerning the first approach, the nanoparticle growth is controlled by adjusting the fluid thermodynamic properties and kinetic of the reactions which allow us to perform the functionalization in a second step. A great versatility in the choice of both inorganic nanoparticle and organic functionalization agent is then insured by this method of hybrid nanoparticle synthesis.
The second approach allows to skipp the limitations for the development of the synthesis of functional materials in supercritical CO2, namely the solubility of both reactants and stabilizing agents.
These approaches are illustrated by the synthesis of palladium nanoparticles functionalized with different types of organic molecules, in order to employ them as soluble heterogeneous catalysts.
