Une méthode de raccordement de maillages non-conformes pour la résolution des équations de Navier-Stokes

Abstract : Numerical treatment of flow mechanics problems relies on particular and often complex geometries. In order to describe them faithfully, we have developped a method to connect nonmatching block-structured meshes. This method relies on non-conservative and implicit interpolation of interfaces variables between blocks. The connecting conditions treatment has been developped in 2D and 3D and applied to the resolution of Navier-Stokes equations with the augmented Lagrangian method. Numerical validation in 2D has been performed on several test cases which analytical solutions are well-known as well as academics cases such as the flow over a backward-facing step, the lid-driven cavity flow, and the flow aroud a cylinder. Results show the feasibility and validity of the proposed method.
