Architecture de coopération de réseaux sans fil

Abstract : This PhD thesis deals with the use of multiple, heterogeneous, cooperative networks on a terminal in a context of mobility. With the convergence phenomen, IP protocol becomes an universal protocol to exchange all types of data. However, TCP/IP model prevents eective uses of all the wireless connections (UMTS, 802.11, DVB) potentially available for the terminal. The state of the art show the deficiency of the actual solutions and permits to define the network cooperating modes. We propose a new architecture based on IPv6 and SCTP protocols with a network management layer included to offer an optimized networks cooperating configuration for a given service. Some parts of the architecture model has been evaluated through one experiment and simulations.
