Structures régulières dans la turbulence bidimensionnelle

Abstract : In flow of bidimensional (in average) turbulence, quasi regular and localized vortex structures have sometimes been observed in experiments. The aim of this study is to model the formation of such organization by different theoretical approaches and to perform numerically. Firstly, the effect of external perturbations on initial conditions of flow is investigated. Secondly, laws of statistical mechanisms are applied to set a principle for the evolution of vortices. This principle is established following initial temperature conditions of system. Thirdly, we focus on the case where the system remains below its relaxation time which reveals appearance of multi-petal vortex structures. Finally, sink-vortices, which are more complex, are analyzed in more details.
